Eligibility:

  1. Be a female. Transgender females are allowed.

  2. Go to school in the United States.

  3.  Create your own video

Create Your Application

We want to see how you connect computer science to your passion through a film. For example, you can make a video on how you help others through code, making music through code, or connecting dance to code.

High school, middle school, and elementary school students compete in different categories.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Has to connect computer science to your passion.

    • For example, if you are passionate about music, go to EarSketch, make a song, then submit it as a video.

    • Or you like to help others, make a video on how you help others through code and feature some people you help.

  • Has to be between 3 to 6 minutes long.

  • Once you’ve created your video, upload it to youtube, vimeo, or any other video-hosting site. Make sure the video is set to public. If it’s not set to public, the judges won’t be able to see it.

  • Finally, when submitting, you will be asked for a description of the video and short biography on yourself.
